Instructors Development Course
This is the course where you learn to teach and it also prepares you for all phases of the Instructors Exams.
As a PADI Divemaster or an Assistant Instructor, this is the final step before you begin your new career as a scuba diving instructor. At Cayman Diving College, we have eliminated “Hell Week”. We believe this final preparation should be as relaxed as possible as there is a lot to learn.
This is the course where you learn to teach and it also prepares you for all phases of the Instructors Exams. At Cayman Diving College we realize the importance of having this stress free environment and the seriousness of your commitment. Our commitment to you is to give you our full attention and 100% of our time to ensure your success.
During the IDC we will teach you how to use the PADI system to teach in class, pool, and open water. The dress is casual and attendance is mandatory. During the IDC we will review several topics related to the written exams taken during the IE. You will take sample exams to identify areas of strength and weakness. You will find the learning enjoyable and very helpful. During the IDC we will also be teaching the EFR Instructors course. As an added bonus, if you sign up for the EFR Instructors we’ll include the EFR O2 Instructors specialty. The IDC is held at the Treasure Island Resort where the confined water is only steps away from the Caribbean Sea. For admittance you must have been a certified diver for at least six months, be a PADI Divemaster or equilivant certification, 18 years old, have a PADI Medical signed by a physician and have proof of 100 logged dives. After the Instructor Exams, why settle for being simply an Open Water Instructor? Learn to teach scuba specialties and work towards your (MSDT) Master Scuba Diver Trainer. |
